Behind The Name
People often ask us, “Where did the name Jackson Cabinetry come from?”
Is it the street we’re on? Is it named after a beloved bird dog?
The answer is no. Jackson Cabinetry was named in honor of Gordon Jackson, my best friend and a true craftsman. Gordon was building fine furniture long before I ever picked up a chisel. We were lifelong friends who always dreamed of working together, and though he passed in 2010, his passion for quality and artistry lives on in everything we create.

We began as Jackson Custom Woodworks, specializing in handcrafted furniture in historic downtown Covington, Louisiana. As demand grew for high-quality kitchen and bath cabinetry, we evolved into Jackson Cabinetry, bringing the same level of craftsmanship and detail to homes across the region.
